Log Files
At this point you are probably wondering where you can find log files to
look at. The easiest method is to record your own logs from actual
games, which involves activating logging through Bolo's File menu, as
shown above.
Important Note: don't turn logging on while you are joining a
game and are still receiving the map. The log file will be incomplete
and most likely unviewable. This is a "feature" of Bolo.
There is also nix's Bolo log file
archive, which has almost 2 GBytes of games dating from the fall
of 2000 to the present.
This link works for Mac OS X; for earlier systems please use the
Chooser and its Server IP Address button, then enter
'gaim.cass.usu.edu' into the dialog box.
Note that the log archive also can be be accessed by FTP:
ftp://gaim.cass.usu.edu:221/.
Use the passive FTP mode along with MacBinary file transfers.
This AppleShare server allows guest access to all of the archived
logs. Please contact nix if you would like a personal folder available
for uploading.
